Educational Qualification-

a. Higher qualification of B.Tech/B.E in Engineering with 65 % marks or more shall not be a bar for applying for the post of Diploma Trainee.
b. The following Disciplines of Diploma/Engineering shall be acceptable for posts mentioned below:-For the post of DT(Electrical):
Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering/ Power Engineering (Electrical).

2.Diploma Trainee-Civil

Total No of Posts-11(UR-5,OBC-3,SC-2,ST-1)

Educational Qualification-Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized Technical Board/ Institute with minimum 70% marks for General/OBC(NCL) candidates and pass marks for SC/ST candidates.

Age Limit-For both above posts

27 years for General
30 years for OBC(NCL)
32 years for SC/ST

Age relaxation as per government rule.

Application Fee-Rs 300/- + Bank Charges(Rs 60) FOR UR/OBC

SC/ST/PwD/Ex-SM/Departmental candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee.

Test Center-The Computer Based Test shall be held at the following
2.Jaipur (Raj)
3.Noida (UP)

Selection Process-Written test only

The Written Test/Computer Based Test shall be of Objective type (each question shall have four answer options) of two hours duration consisting of two parts –
(a) Part-I consists of Technical/Professional Knowledge Test with 120 questions having specific questions from respective discipline.
(b) Part-II consists of Aptitude Test with 50 questions on vocabulary, verbal comprehension, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, data sufficiency & interpretation, numerical ability etc.
All questions carry equal marks (1 mark). Wrong & multiple answers would result in negative marks of ¼.

Qualifying criteria in Written Test –

1. Diploma Trainee (Electrical)

Unreserved Vacancies-Minimum of 40% marks subject to at least 30% marks in each Part-I & Part-II separately.

Reserved Vacancies-Minimum of 30% marks subject to at least 25% marks in each Part-I & Part-II separately

2. Diploma Trainee (Civil)
Unreserved Vacancies-Minimum of 40% marks subject to at least 30% marks in each Part-I & Part-II separately

Reserved Vacancies-Minimum of 30% marks subject to at least 25% marks in each Part-I & Part-II separately

What To Do After Online Application-After submission of final online application candidate should download/Print

1.Online Application Form(Resume)

2.Bank Fee Challan Rs 360 If applicable(only UR/OBC Candidate)

Then after go to bank and deposit the fee challan

Now candidate have to send following thing to PGCIL NR-I New DELHI

(iv) Latest pay slip (wherever applicable)
(v) Caste/Category Certificate, if applicable.
(vi) Declaration Form regarding Non-Creamy Layer status in respect of OBC (NCL) candidates in the prescribed format.
(vii) Disability Certificate in case of PwD candidate in the prescribed format.
(viii) Discharge Certificate, Undertaking and Proforma of Certificate for Employed Officials in case of Ex-Servicemen in the prescribed format.
(ix) Certificate in the prescribed format issued by Competent Authority in respect of J&K Domicile/ Victims of Riots, wherever applicable.
